We are so blessed by our amazing donors that have enabled us to expand to our 5th country of Armenia! Your generous donations during Giving Tuesday are helping build the new FLY center in Gyumri, which will house a sewing workshop for single mothers to learn a sustainable trade and support their families. Walls are going up, concrete is being poured, and lives will be changed! Please keep the construction crews and community in your prayers! 4/23/24 We are excited and thrilled to announce that Nasarean will be starting business support in our fifth country – the most ancient Christian country on earth – Armenia. This magnificent country, Christian since 301 AD, has suffered persecution almost since the beginning, and just this year, more than 120,000 Armenian Christians were driven from their homeland in the enclave of Artsakh by the Muslim government of Azerbaijan. Through your generosity, we will support a training workshop specifically for single mothers (and only mothers), to learn sewing and tailoring skills, for repairs and for general tailoring, hopefully ending in employment for more than 40 women. Once again, Nasarean is supporting women-run businesses, and also demonstrating our ecumenical character, as we work with the Armenian Apostolic Church. 11/27/23
