Do you recall the Qaraqosh training center and how Wassem graduated from the barbershop class and opened his own shop? Well, they have a new class of women hairdressers now. Twelve women are being trained and will hopefully be able to get employment in a salon or open one of their own.  This incredible center has now trained over 50 individuals that can go in to their communities and find gainful employment for themselves and their families.  Talk about a huge impact.  All from a small donation you made!  God bless you!

Our support in Iraq, through your help, continues to grow, where, in this our 10th Anniversary year, we have started, helped and supported 70 businesses – keeping Christians in the land they have lived in for 2,000 years employed and not migrating . Despite intense persecution over the years, having a family business makes all the difference between a future in their homeland or migration and loss of the Christian presence.
With your support, we enabled a Barber’s training for 13 men in the city of Qaraqosh, on the Nineveh Plain in Iraq, where, in 2014, ISIS drove all the Christians out.
Already, one of the men on the course has a job in a Barbershop, and several others are looking to open a shop. Hope for young Christian men in Nineveh through your generosity!

We have begun, through your generosity, several training sessions in Qaraqosh, Iraq. The first two are for women and girls interested in learning the basic skills of making clothes and decorative wear. Up to 400 women have registered – sessions will also take place in several homes. It is hoped that some of the ladies will find employment after training. We will also have some mechanical training sessions for men soon – all from a relatively small donation. Thank you for your support!
